How can I trade for space at the 100th Monkey Studio?
An Artist Trade role in the studio can
benefit any artist looking for space to create or teach art in an active art community space. In exchange for space we ask that Artist Trade positions teach a class for the studio. Artists in an Artist Trade role can expect
to lead workshops/classes/lecture that relates to their area of concentration/expertise as an
artist, but should not compete with the class they are independently running for the trade. Artists are responsible for their own set up, teaching curriculum, assisting students in the learning process and clean up. **Some volunteers/interns may be available to assist in your class taught for trade.
How do I apply?
Contact the studio for a Artist Trade application. Once you have turned this in we will schedule an interview and discuss your options. Artists are expected to complete their own
class syllabus and outline prior to the class being added to studio offerings. Artists may also be responsible for some marketing
of their classes
